Step into a rewarding role supporting K-12 students as a school-based Speech Language Pathologist for a vibrant district. This full-time, contract opportunity is available immediately and runs through the end of the school year. You'll have the chance to work directly with a diverse caseload of approximately 71 students, delivering impactful speech and language services within a collaborative educational environment.
Bring your clinical expertise and passion for student growth as you make a real difference, working exclusively on-site alongside dedicated educators and support staff. This position welcomes qualified SLP-CCC and SLP-CFY professionals eager to contribute to student success and develop their practice in a supportive district setting.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid California SLP license/state credential (or eligibility)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
- Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings strongly desired
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Open to new graduates with strong practicum or internship experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and intervention to students with speech, language, and communication needs
- Deliver therapy services individually and in small group settings following IEPs
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Complete required documentation and attend IEP meetings as needed
- Contribute expertise to support inclusive education across the K-12 spectrum
