Autism Waiver Program Manager

Location: Office, Danvers, MA Travel to Northeast Region of Massachusetts for family visits, meetings, trainings, and program oversight activities Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9am-5pm Target Rate: $29.50-$31.00 Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent on multiple factors, including but not limited to, the individual's experience, education, and internal equity. Job Summary The Waiver Broker Supervisor plays a critical leadership role within Northeast Arc's Autism Support Center (ASC), overseeing the delivery of services and supports provided through the Massachusetts Medicaid Autism Waiver Program. This position provides supervision, training, and guidance to Waiver Support Brokers while ensuring compliance with Department of Developmental Services (DDS) Autism Waiver Program requirements and service standards. Working closely with DDS Autism Clinical Managers, provider agencies, community partners, and families, the Waiver Broker Supervisor supports the successful implementation of individualized services that promote independence, inclusion, and family empowerment. This role combines direct family support, program oversight, staff supervision, and administrative responsibilities to ensure high-quality service delivery. Success in this position requires strong leadership, organizational skills, attention to detail, knowledge of autism services, and a commitment to supporting individuals with autism and their families. Responsibilities Provides training, guidance, and biweekly supervision to Waiver Support Brokers, facilitating team meetings and supporting day-to-day operations. Maintains current knowledge of DDS Autism Waiver Program requirements, timelines, documentation standards, waiver-related services, and community resources. Participates in monthly and quarterly meetings with DDS Autism Clinical Managers, Support Brokers, and Autism Support Center staff. Collaborates closely with the Program Director regarding Waiver Program operations, service delivery, and program improvements. Maintains awareness of participant and family needs across the program caseload and implements plans for periodic family visits. Assists families, Support Brokers, and DDS staff with participant transitions from the Waiver Program to DDS Area Office services. Represents the Autism Support Center at meetings, resource fairs, seminars, conferences, and community events. Performs other duties and special projects assigned. Qualifications Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience. One to two years of leadership or supervisory experience required. Three to five years of experience and/or specialized training working within the field of autism services. Demonstrated knowledge of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and the needs of children and families. Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle required. Successful completion of all required background checks and screenings in accordance with Northeast Arc and DDS requirements. Skills, Knowledge, And Abilities Demonstrated commitment to empowering families and supporting individuals with disabilities. Knowledge of Massachusetts service systems, DDS programs, and community resources available to individuals with autism and their families. Strong leadership, coaching, and team development abilities. Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to build collaborative relationships with families, community partners, and government agencies. Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Experience with HCSIS, Acumen, or other case management systems preferred. Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information in accordance with agency, DDS, and privacy requirements. Physical Demands Ability to travel to off-site meetings, trainings, and family home visits. Ability to sit at a desk and work on a computer for extended periods. Standing, walking, and community-based travel may be required throughout the workday. Work Environment Work is performed primarily in an office environment with regular travel throughout the community for family visits, meetings, trainings, and program oversight activities. Position may require flexibility in scheduling, including occasional evening hours, to meet the needs of families and program participants.
