About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Risk Officer to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a robust risk management framework and providing executive-level oversight of various risks, including market, counterparty, credit, liquidity, model, and enterprise risks. This role is pivotal in serving as a strategic advisor on the firm's growth and requires a deep understanding of institutional fixed income and market, counterparty, liquidity, operational, and enterprise risk. The Chief Risk Officer will also be involved in leading the enhancement of the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Framework, co-chairing the Risk Committee, and establishing firm-wide risk limits and exposure thresholds. Applicants must have a minimum of 15 years' of relevant risk management experience within a self-clearing broker-dealer, investment bank, proprietary trading firm, hedge fund, or capital markets organization. A FRM or PRM designation is preferred, along with current FINRA Series 7, 24, and 57 registrations or the ability to obtain them. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field, with a Master's degree or MBA being advantageous. Executive leadership experience in institutional capital markets, including interaction with regulators and executive management, is also a key qualification. The ideal candidate will have technical and regulatory expertise in a range of areas, including SEC and FINRA rules, and experience with Bloomberg, Power BI, and enterprise risk platforms.
