Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Description

Job Summary:

Provide specialized emergency nursing care in a fast-paced environment, ensuring timely, effective treatment for patients presenting with acute conditions. Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver high-quality patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Administer emergency interventions and stabilize patients upon arrival.
• Utilize electronic medical records to document patient assessments and care plans.
• Monitor patient vitals and respond swiftly to changes in condition.
• Coordinate with medical staff to prioritize and manage patient flow.
• Educate patients and families on post-discharge care as needed.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and safety standards.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active RN license in good standing.
• Possess at least 2 years of ER nursing experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency in EPIC EMR systems.
• Certified in ACLS and BLS; PALS, TNCC, and CPI certifications preferred.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays, including 12-hour shifts.
• Be adaptable to floating across multiple healthcare campuses as required.
