Certified Nurse Assistant - CNA

Certified Nurse Aide – Bethel Pointe Health and Rehabilitation Night Shift available 10pm-6am. Primary Responsibilities Assisting residents with bathing, toileting, oral hygiene, skin care, grooming, nail care, and dressing needs. Feeding residents, providing bedside water, snacks, and transferring residents to and from dining areas in compliance with the nutritional plan of care. Answering resident call lights and responding to resident requests in a timely manner. Maintaining resident rooms by making beds, changing linens, cleaning bedside tables, and organizing personal belongings. Observing and reporting changes in resident’s appetite, skin condition or behaviors. Offering emotional support and actively listening to residents to build trust and support independence. Maintaining confidentiality of all resident care and protecting resident rights and privacy. Providing medical record documentation per facility policy. Complying with safety requirements, infection control measures, and maintaining a clean work environment. Qualifications High school diploma or GED, unless working under a student permit. Certified by the Indiana State Department of Health as a CNA in good standing. Out‑of‑state CNAs may work up to 120 days while awaiting their Indiana certification. Basic computer skills with knowledge of Excel, Word, and related programs. Understanding of safe and effective nursing practices within the state of Indiana. Interpersonal skills: assisting licensed nurses with procedures within scope, following written and verbal instructions, working independently, exercising judgment, maintaining confidentiality, displaying patience, cheerfulness, enthusiasm, and professionalism.
