DPS Home Health Agency Inc. is seeking caring, dependable Home Health Aides (HHAs) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to provide in-home care and companionship. We offer flexible scheduling, supportive clinical leadership, and opportunities for professional growth.

About the Role

In this home care position, you will provide non-medical support and companionship to clients in their homes, helping with daily living activities so they can live safely and comfortably. You will work closely with the clinical team, including Registered Nurses (RNs), to follow each client's individualized care plan.

Qualifications

• Active Florida CNA license or 40-hour HHA certificate.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Valid Florida driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Excellent communication, patience, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently while providing compassionate, client-centered care.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior home care or caregiving experience preferred.

Preference will be given to candidates with experience in one or more of the following:

• Home care or caregiving.
• Dementia or Alzheimer's care.
• Chronic disease support.
• Mobility assistance.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed.
• Provide light housekeeping and laundry support.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and range-of-motion exercises.
• Monitor and report changes in client condition to the supervising nurse.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients and families.
• Follow the individualized care plan established by the RN/clinical team.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable state regulations.
