DescriptionKforce has a client in Baltimore, MD that is seeking a Data Analyst.Summary:We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Analyst to support Finance, Accounting, and business systems through data analysis, reporting, process improvement, and application support. This role will work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze data, support system enhancements, and help improve reporting and operational processes. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience working with business applications, and the ability to translate business needs into clear data and system requirements.Key Responsibilities:* Provide data and systems support for Finance and Accounting teams* Analyze business processes, reporting needs, and system requirements* Gather and document requirements from stakeholders and functional teams* Support Oracle, Chrome River, and related business application activities* Assist with system configurations, application updates, data uploads, and testing* Review and analyze data to identify issues, trends, and process improvement opportunities* Support KPI tracking, reporting, and dashboard development* Participate in user acceptance testing, quality assurance, and user training* Troubleshoot system or data issues and coordinate resolution with appropriate teams* Maintain documentation for application processes, procedures, and reporting requirements* Collaborate with cross-functional teams on system enhancements, implementations, and process improvements* Support project management activities and help ensure deliverables are completed accurately and on timeRequirements* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, Business, Data Analytics, or related field* 5+ years of relevant professional experience* Experience supporting business applications, ERP systems, or financial systems* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills* Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into system or reporting solutions* Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel* Strong communication skills with the ability to work with stakeholders at all levels* Ability to manage multiple priorities and support projects from start to finish* Strong attention to detail, organization, and commitment to qualityPreferred Qualifications:* Experience with Oracle applications or similar ERP systems* Experience with Chrome River or expense management systems* Experience supporting system implementations, upgrades, or integrations* Knowledge of Finance and Accounting business processes* Experience with reporting, KPI development, data governance, or process improvement initiatives* Familiarity with project management or software implementation methodologies.Key Competencies:* Data Analysis* Business Systems Support* Requirements Gathering* Financial Systems* Oracle ERP* Reporting & KPIs* Process Improvement* Quality Assurance Testing* Project Support* Stakeholder Communication* Documentation* Problem-solvingJob TypeContractCompensation35 - $38
