Registered Nurse (RN)As a Registered Nurse (RN) in a Medical Surgical Unit, you will provide high-quality patient care for a diverse population ranging from adolescents to geriatric patients. Your expertise will contribute to the well-being of patients with medical-surgical diagnoses, including those under remote telemetry monitoring.The position is on a medical-surgical unit with a capacity of 38 beds, typically accommodating an average of 33 patients daily. Nurses will have a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:6.This role requires working night shifts in a 3x12 hour format from 19:00 to 07:00. Additionally, nurses will be required to work every other weekend unless specified otherwise.Nurses may be required to float within the facility to provide care as needed, according to their scope of practice.Nurses are expected to work one major holiday during their assignment period, with requirements increasing based on the number of holidays falling within that duration. Full compliance with onboarding requirements is essential to ensure timely start dates.The designated scrub color for this position is navy blue.Locals are accepted at the same rate. Please note that the number of Non-Billable Orientation (NBO) hours varies depending on the length of the contract.
