About the Role
The Company is seeking a Senior Counsel for Employment to join their dynamic legal team. The successful candidate will be a key partner in the design and implementation of scalable systems, tools, and processes to enhance the management of employment-related risk on a global scale. This role is pivotal in providing strategic and hands-on employment law support, including advising on complex employee relations matters, investigations, performance management, and separations. The Senior Counsel will also be responsible for designing and scaling employment law frameworks, policies, and processes to ensure consistency, efficiency, and proactive risk management. Applicants should have approximately 8+ years of legal experience with a significant focus on employment law, with a preference for those who have in-house experience within a technology company or similar high-growth environment. The role requires a Juris Doctor (J.D.) and active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction, as well as a strong background in handling employment counseling, investigations, and litigation or pre-litigation matters. The ideal candidate will be a business-minded attorney with the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, and will have a proven track record of partnering with senior stakeholders. Experience in supporting complex, multi-jurisdictional employment issues and familiarity with using data, technology, and AI-enabled tools to improve processes are also essential.
