About the Role:

We look for friendly and reliable individuals to join our team as a Station Cashier. Cashiers are responsible for providing excellent customer service, handling transactions, and ensuring the smooth operation of the gas station. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a positive attitude. Cashiers also ensure safety protocols are followed and maintain a positive, friendly atmosphere for customers. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced retail environment, this may be a good fit for you. Responsibilities:

• Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Process customer transactions quickly and accurately, including fuel purchases and convenience store items.
• Handle cash, credit/debit card transactions, and other payment methods.
• Process refunds, issue receipts, and give change to customers as necessary.
• Maintain accurate cash drawer balances and reconcile discrepancies.
• Stock shelves and maintain the cleanliness and organization of the store and fueling areas.
• Assist customers with product questions, fuel selection, and basic inquiries.
• Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of the cashier station and surrounding areas.
• Adhere to company policies and safety procedures at all times.
• Address customer complaints or concerns in a calm and professional manner.
• Maintain knowledge of current promotions, discounts, and store policies.
• Assist with opening and closing duties as needed.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous cashier or customer service experience (and/or point of sale systems) is preferred but not required.
• Basic math skills and the ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends, and/or holidays as needed.
• A friendly, customer-oriented attitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 20 pounds when required.
• Bilingual abilities to assist a diverse customer base is preferred but not required.
• Candidates with a criminal record may apply.

• Pay from $18 per hour
