STAFFXPERT LLC is seeking a Data Security Consultant on behalf of our client in [Location] to support secure handling, integration, transmission, and storage of PeopleSoft data within Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) .

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Oracle Database Security, PeopleSoft security, application security, secure data integrations, and cloud database monitoring . This role will work closely with technical and business stakeholders to strengthen data protection, security controls, compliance, and secure integration practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Secure PeopleSoft data flows across OCI, downstream systems, and identity platforms.

• Implement and maintain Oracle Database security controls , including Transparent Data Encryption (TDE).

• Support Audit Vault / Unified Auditing , database monitoring, and security visibility.

• Manage privileged accounts and apply database hardening standards.

• Work with PeopleSoft security tables, roles, permission lists, and architecture .

• Secure integrations using SOAP, REST, web services, and API gateways .

• Apply data classification, sensitive data protection, and compliance practices.

• Implement application security controls covering authentication, authorization, session management, and data protection .

• Monitor cloud database logs, events, and metrics to identify security issues.

• Work with enterprise security solutions such as DLP, DRM, and cloud data monitoring tools .

• Collaborate with stakeholders to address security requirements, risks, and data-protection needs.

• Maintain accurate security configurations, documentation, and operational records.

• Clearly communicate security findings, risks, and recommended actions.

Required Qualifications

• 4 6 years of experience in data security, application security, or IT security operations.

• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Database Security .

• Experience with TDE, Audit Vault/Unified Auditing, privileged account controls, and database hardening .

• Experience with PeopleSoft architecture and security , including roles, security tables, and permission lists.

• Strong understanding of Application Security fundamentals .

• Experience with SOAP/REST, web services, APIs, and API gateways .

• Knowledge of data classification, sensitive data protection, and security compliance.

• Understanding of cloud database monitoring , including logs, events, and metrics.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with DLP, DRM, and cloud data-security monitoring solutions .

• Experience securing PeopleSoft environments integrated with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) .

• Knowledge of secure integration architecture and data transmission practices.

• Experience supporting security audits, compliance initiatives, and remediation efforts.
