Sales Support Administrator

Job Title : Sales Support Administrator Location : Darlington Salary : £26,000 per annum Hours : Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm (flexible start/finish times) An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Sales Support Administrator to join a successful business based in Darlington. This is a varied role supporting sales operations, procurement activities and general business administration. Working closely with internal teams, suppliers and customers, you’ll help manage the full order process from preparing quotations and coordinating purchases through to delivery tracking, documentation and customer support. This role requires someone who is highly organised, detail focused and confident managing multiple priorities in a busy environment. Responsibilities Of Sales Support Administrator Prepare quotations and process customer orders Coordinate purchasing activities and liaise with suppliers Manage order updates, deliveries, returns and queries Maintain accurate records, documentation and internal systems Support account managers with administration tasks Monitor shared inboxes and respond to enquiries Assist with supplier communication and pricing requests Support general office administration and stock management Skills & Experience Previous experience in administration, procurement, sales support or a similar role Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail Confident communicator with customers, suppliers and colleagues Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively Good working knowledge of Microsoft 365 and office systems Proactive approach with strong problem solving skills Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks In return, you’ll receive a salary of £26,000 per annum and the opportunity to develop your career within a successful and supportive business.
