ICU Registered Nurse (RN)
Position Details:
Start Date: 11/9 or 11/16
Shift: 7 PM - 7 AM
Precepting: Candidates will be required to precept new staff.
Job Overview:
The ICU Registered Nurse (RN) may occasionally be assigned to the Medical-Surgical (MS) unit during times of low ICU census. Candidates should have a solid background in critical care and be able to manage a variety of patient scenarios.
Common Patient Diagnoses:
- Sepsis
- Diabetic Ketoacidosis (DKA)
- Respiratory Distress
- Atrial Fibrillation (Afib)
Qualifications:
- 3 years of nursing experience required.
- Strong patient care experience in Critical Care, Stepdown/Progressive Care Unit (PCU), or Medical-Surgical.
- Experience with Emergency Department (ED) nursing is highly preferred.
- Candidates with experience in a small 3-bed ICU with low acuity or strong Medical-Surgical experience are preferred.
