Family Medicine opportunity in Providence, Rhode Island Seeking full-time Family Medicine Physician to provide primary care services in Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC).

• Full-time, permanent position
\n
• Outpatient only
\n
• Schedule: Mon-Fri, no weekend clinics, one evening clinic per week¬†
\n
• Call schedule: After hours phone call duty rotates among medical providers and is roughly 1 week every 6 weeks. Patients who call the clinic after hours (8pm-8am) and choose to speak to a provider will be patched through. Very light call, some weeks with less than 5 total calls.¬†
\n
• We have 11 medical providers including MDs, FNPs, psychNPs and one nurse midwife.
\n
• We have a large behavioral¬†health team (>8 providers) both for same day access and also long-term therapy
\n
• Patient visits are scheduled every 20 minutes (40 mins for minor procedures and IUDs) and with a no-show rate of about 18-20%, most providers see 16-18 patients per day.¬†
Qualifications \n
• Candidate must possess a license to practice medicine in the State of Rhode Island and have a valid DEA license.
\n
• Family Medicine Physicians must be Board Eligible or Board Certified.
\n
• Prior clinical experience in primary care, specifically working in a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) environment, is a plus. Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) is preferred.
\n
• In this dynamic team-based practice, excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.

• Salary: Negotiable, depending on experience and expertise. We are among the highest paying health centers in the state.
