PORTLAND WAREHOUSE WORKER- FORKLIFT ROLE

Job Description

Join our team as a Warehouse Worker, where you will be responsible for operating double wide forklifts, including 2/3/4 stage lifts, to load and unload freight trucks and rail cars filled with beer, wine, soft drinks, and spirits. This position is located at our Swan Island location, and involves moving palletized full pallet loads around our extensive warehouse using primarily sit-down electric forklifts. You will also utilize RF scanning systems and scannable barcodes.

Responsibilities

• Operate double wide forklifts, including 2/3/4 stage lifts.
• Load and unload freight trucks and rail cars with beverages.
• Move palletized full pallet loads within the warehouse using sit-down electric forklifts.
• Utilize RF scanning systems and scannable barcodes for inventory management.

Essential Skills

• Experience in forklift operation, particularly double wide forklifts.
• Proficiency in inventory and material handling.
• Familiarity with RF scanning systems.
• 1+ year experience in a distribution facility, specifically forklift operation.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with order picking and packing.
• Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes.
• Ability to operate pallet jacks and reach trucks.

Work Environment

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Portland, OR.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
