Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year of inpatient medical/surgical experience License: State or Compact license required Certifications: BLS Must-Have: - Previous charge experience (1 year) - Experience with patient ratios of 1:6 - Recent experience with charting system (Epic) Description: Seeking a registered nurse for a medical-surgical unit. The shift is a 4x12-hour format from 07:00 to 19:30. The unit accepts first-time travelers. Patient ratios are 1:6. Floating to units of equal or lesser acuity is required. Telemetry will be monitored in a centralized unit. There will be support from interdisciplinary teams including physical therapy, respiratory services, and pharmacy. Essential skills include interpretation of dysrhythmias and management of dysrhythmias. Candidates must have recent Epic experience within the last six months. Isolation precautions and PPE management are expected.
