Occupational Health Nurse

The Occupational Health Nurse assumes responsibility for the delivery of nursing and first aid services to employees or persons who are ill and/or injured on the job in accordance with facility policies, practices, and procedures. The Occupational Health Nurse demonstrates critical thinking and performance ability in the coordination of care and consistently performs according to their scope of practice, nursing standards and occupational health and wellness.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current Registered Nurse License for the state in which the nurse practices
• One year prior professional Occupational health experience preferred
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
