Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab/EP

Job Summary:
The Cath Lab RN is responsible for providing specialized nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization, electrophysiology procedures, and interventional radiology interventions. This role requires a skilled professional to support patient safety, assist physicians, and ensure smooth procedural operations.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions pre- and post-procedure to ensure optimal care and safety.
• Prepare and set up equipment and supplies for cardiac and radiology procedures.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care.
• Monitor patient vitals and respond to any emerging clinical issues during procedures.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, treatments, and procedural details.
• Comply with all hospital policies, including infection control and radiation safety protocols.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid state or compact nursing license at the time of application.
• Possess at least 1 year of recent experience in Cath Lab or Interventional Radiology settings.
• Demonstrate proficiency with EPIC electronic medical records (preferred).
• Be BLS and ACLS certified prior to start.
• Have excellent skills in patient assessment, monitoring, and emergency response.
• Exhibit strong communication and teamwork abilities.
