Anesthesiology Physician

Join our Anesthesiology team at Buffalo VA Healthcare System providing high quality anesthetic care in full compliance with VHA directives and Joint Commission standards. The Staff Anesthesiologist reports to the Chief of Anesthesiology and supports safe, effective perioperative care across the medical center.

Position Highlights

• Pre op patient assessment, consultation, and preparation
• Intraoperative anesthesia care for surgical, diagnostic, and therapeutic procedures
• Supervise, teach, and evaluate medical, paramedical staff, medical students and residents
• Contribute to the identification and implementation of clinical quality improvement
• Academic affiliation with University of Buffalo
• On call required

Schedule

• Monday Friday, 7:00 AM 3:30 PM
• Compressed schedules available
