• Current Serve Safe certificate
• Training or degree in culinary arts
• Experience with financial management

Experience working with senior adults and operating a successful culinary department would be a plus.

WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT AS OUR DIRECTOR?

As the Dining Services Director, you will be at the helm of a vibrant and bustling food service department. You will oversee the preparation and delivery of delectable meals and snacks to our esteemed residents, ensuring an unforgettable dining experience at every turn. With dining rooms located in Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care, you will have the exciting opportunity to cater to a diverse range of tastes and dietary needs.

From tracking and preparing specialized diets to managing the department's financial operations, your expertise will be instrumental in maintaining a well-stocked kitchen and keeping the department within budget. You'll lead a team of approximately 25-30 associates, ensuring they are hired and trained to carry out their responsibilities with excellence. As the community's esteemed chef, you will have the freedom to unleash your creativity and plan exquisite meals for special events and in-house catering.
