- Perform high-quality ultrasound examinations as ordered by physicians, including abdominal, OB/GYN, vascular, and small parts imaging.
- Ensure correct patient positioning and technique to obtain optimal image quality.
- Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring its safety and proper functioning.
- Clearly explain ultrasound procedures to patients and address any questions or concerns with professionalism and empathy.
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare professionals to review and interpret diagnostic images.
- Maintain detailed and accurate patient records in accordance with institutional protocols.
- Adhere to established safety protocols and infection control procedures to maintain a safe clinical environment.
- ARDMS certification in one or more specialties (required).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required).
- Certification from the Texas Department of State Health Services (preferred).
- A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience (preferred).
- Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
