At Modern Heating & Plumbing , we're looking for an experienced HVAC Technician to take ownership of residential and commercial installations, guide apprentices, and help deliver exceptional service to our customers. What You'll Do

As an HVAC Technician, you'll play a key role in both the field and the success of our team by:

• Inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining residential and commercial HVAC equipment
• Performing preventative maintenance to keep systems operating efficiently
• Preparing accurate estimates and bids for residential and commercial projects
• Installing complete HVAC systems, including rooftop units (RTUs)
• Responding to emergency service calls when needed
• Reading and interpreting HVAC wiring diagrams and technical documentation
• Building lasting relationships with customers through professional, high-quality service
• Leading installations while ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule
• Training and mentoring apprentices, helping develop the next generation of skilled technicians
• Participating in safety meetings, technical training, and ongoing professional development
• Following all company safety standards and operating procedures

What We're Looking For - We're seeking a confident leader with strong technical expertise and a commitment to quality.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of HVAC experience
• Experience with both residential and commercial HVAC systems
• Universal EPA Certification
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience bidding and installing rooftop units (RTUs)
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• Authorized to work in the United States

Schedule

• Monday-Friday | 7:30 AM-4:00 PM
• Rotating on-call schedule (nights and weekends)
• Overtime opportunities as needed, including evenings and weekends

Compensation $43,000-$95,000 annually
