Overview

Group 1 Bob Howard Nissan is looking for Service Technician Trainee to join our Nissan team!

We are growing and have immediate positions for Service Technician Trainee to work with our Quality Dealership representing the Quality Nissan Product! Our Service Technician Trainee should be passionate about customer service, take pride in their work and enjoy being part of a winning team that cares about employees.

Responsibilities

Perform oil and filter changes, tire rotations, tire repairs, and basic brake services.
Inspect and replace air, cabin, fuel, and other filters as needed.
Check and maintain fluid levels, tire pressure, lights, belts, hoses, and other vehicle components.
Perform multi-point vehicle inspections and accurately document findings.
Identify maintenance or repair needs and communicate them to the service advisor.
Follow manufacturer specifications and dealership procedures.
Use automotive tools and shop equipment safely and properly.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Complete work orders accurately and efficiently.
Follow all OSHA, dealership, and safety requirements.
Assist other technicians and service department personnel as needed.
Provide professional and courteous service to customers.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Excellent customer service skills
Professional appearance and work ethic
Must pass background check, MVR, and drug screening
