Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room provides comprehensive patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized treatment plans. This role involves supervising co-workers, delegating tasks, and ensuring adherence to established policies and procedures to deliver high-quality, safe care.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions upon arrival, identifying immediate needs and prioritizing care accordingly.
• Develop, execute, and evaluate nursing care plans tailored to each patient's clinical needs.
• Administer medications and treatments following physician orders accurately and safely.
• Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatments, and discharge instructions.
• Document all nursing activities, assessments, and interventions thoroughly and legibly.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to coordinate and optimize patient care.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio.
• Possess an associate degree in nursing; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Have experience in a fast-paced emergency or acute care setting preferred.
• Show proficiency in critical thinking, problem-solving, and prioritization.
• CPR certification is required.
