Student Assistant - CRI - Recreation & Wellness Facility Attendant (Spring 2027)

Student Assistant

The Student Assistant will support the Campus Recreation and Intramurals as a Recreation & Wellness Facility Attendant on the Armstrong Campus beginning Spring 2027.

Responsibilities:

• Operates the Equipment Desk, Front Desk, and Member Services area during facility operating hours
• Verifies membership through RecTrac Facility Management Software and monitors all participants and guests as they enter and exit the facility
• Serves as a roving recreation assistant
• Assists in the safety, supervision, and set-up of free play equipment in all open recreation areas
• Other projects will be assigned by immediate supervisor

Shift Specifics: Up to 25 hours per week. Flexible with schedule of availability.

Required Qualifications:

• Must be enrolled in six or more undergraduate credit hours or three or more graduate credit hours at Georgia Southern University.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior customer service experience
• Prior experience in a recreational setting

Proposed Salary: $10.00 per hour. This is a non-exempt position paid on a biweekly basis.
