Details Hospital-based Operating Room unit 40 hours per week with a mix of 8- and 10-hour shifts 13-week assignment Call required, approximately three weeknights per month (5p-7a) and one weekend day per month (Saturday or Sunday, 7a-7a) Cares for patients across pre-natal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations Uses Epic for charting Uses UKG/Kronos for timekeeping Requirements Active MA RN license required (no conditional or pending licenses accepted) Both NURSYS and BON verification required for nursing license Current BLS certification required (AHA) Current ACLS certification required (AHA) Current PALS certification required (AHA) 1-3 years of Operating Room experience required Must function as Circulating Nurse and patient advocate for anesthetized patients Ability to interact effectively with patients across a range of intellectual and physical abilities Additional Information Serve as patient advocate for anesthetized surgical patients while meeting their physiologic and functional needs Interact and coordinate care on an interdisciplinary level Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed Local candidates accepted with permanent residence within 60 miles of the facility, at a reduced rate No validated parking available at Boston locations; public transportation or paid public parking lots required American Traveler Job ID P-727957.
