This exciting role offers you the chance to make a difference in your community while driving a vital service that keeps our neighborhoods clean and safe. Responsibilities: Operate and drive a trash truck safely and efficiently on designated routes. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance. Collect and dispose of waste materials from residential and commercial customers. Communicate effectively with dispatch and report any issues or concerns promptly. Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations regarding waste disposal. Maintain a clean and organized truck interior and exterior. Assist in training new drivers as needed and promote a team-oriented environment. Provide excellent customer service while interacting with the public during pickups. Requirements: Valid CDL Class A or B license with a clean driving record. Minimum of 2 years of commercial driving experience, preferably with waste management. Strong knowledge of safety regulations and procedures in the waste industry. Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Familiarity with GPS systems and route planning.
