Finance & Insurance (F&I) Manager Ocean Mazda Roswell Location: Roswell, GA Department: Finance & Insurance Employment Type: Full-Time Estimated Annual Earnings: $150,000 – $200,000 About the Opportunity Ocean Mazda Roswell is seeking an experienced, high-performing Finance & Insurance (F&I) Manager to join our leadership team. This is an opportunity for an accomplished automotive finance professional who understands how to maximize profitability while maintaining the highest standards of compliance, transparency, customer service, and integrity. The ideal candidate will have a proven record of strong F&I production, lender relationships, product penetration, deal structure, contract accuracy, and customer satisfaction within a franchised automotive dealership. This is not an entry-level F&I opportunity. We are looking for an experienced professional who can step into the position and make an immediate contribution to the dealership. Key Responsibilities * Manage the finance and insurance process for new and pre-owned vehicle transactions. * Meet with customers following the vehicle selection and sales process to finalize financing and protection options. * Secure competitive financing and leasing options through available lenders. * Present financing options and F&I products professionally, transparently, and consistently. * Present vehicle service contracts, GAP protection, maintenance programs, appearance protection, and other approved products. * Maximize F&I profitability while maintaining a customer-focused and compliant sales process. * Structure deals appropriately based on customer qualifications, lender programs, dealership objectives, and applicable requirements. * Submit credit applications to appropriate lenders and manage lender decisions. * Work with lenders to obtain approvals and resolve stipulations or funding requirements. * Maintain strong relationships with banks, captive finance companies, credit unions, and other approved lending partners. * Understand lender programs, guidelines, advance requirements, rate structures, and approval criteria. * Review deal structure with Sales Management when necessary to identify financing solutions. * Ensure all required documentation is accurate, complete, properly executed, and compliant before delivery. * Review contracts, disclosures, finance agreements, lease documents, and supporting paperwork for accuracy. * Ensure customer signatures and required documentation are obtained before completing the transaction. * Maintain accurate deal jackets and electronic records. * Work closely with Accounting to ensure deals are complete and can be processed and funded without unnecessary delays. * Monitor contracts in transit and promptly resolve funding issues. * Follow up on lender stipulations, missing documents, and funding delays. * Assist with resolving contract errors, rewrites, and other finance-related issues. * Maintain accurate reporting of F&I production and performance. * Participate in dealership sales meetings, management meetings, training, and manufacturer programs as required. * Maintain professional communication with customers, Sales Consultants, Sales Managers, Accounting, and dealership leadership. * Perform other duties as assigned by dealership management. F&I Production & Performance The F&I Manager is expected to consistently manage and improve key performance indicators, including: * Finance gross profit * F&I gross profit per retail unit * Product penetration * Vehicle service contract penetration * GAP penetration * Maintenance and protection product penetration * Finance penetration * Lender utilization * Contracts in transit * Funding turnaround * Chargebacks * Product cancellations * Deal accuracy * Customer satisfaction The successful candidate understands how to drive strong F&I performance while maintaining a professional and transparent customer experience. Compliance & Deal Integrity Compliance is an essential responsibility of the F&I Manager. The F&I Manager must ensure all transactions are completed in accordance with dealership policies and applicable federal and state requirements. Responsibilities include: * Maintain consistent and compliant F&I presentation practices. * Ensure required disclosures are properly presented and documented. * Protect customer financial and personally identifiable information. * Follow dealership information-security and privacy procedures. * Maintain accurate and complete customer documentation. * Follow established procedures regarding credit applications and credit-related documentation. * Ensure products are presented accurately and without misrepresentation. * Avoid unauthorized payment packing, discriminatory practices, or other prohibited conduct. * Follow applicable OFAC, Red Flags, Safeguards, privacy, and identity-verification procedures. * Complete required compliance training. * Cooperate with internal audits and promptly correct identified documentation issues. * Maintain current knowledge of dealership F&I compliance requirements. Customer Experience The F&I Manager represents one of the customer's final and most important interactions during the vehicle-purchase experience. We expect our F&I Manager to combine strong production with exceptional customer service. The successful candidate will: * Explain financing and protection options clearly. * Listen to customer needs and concerns. * Present products professionally without creating unnecessary pressure. * Maintain transparency throughout the transaction. * Answer questions accurately and respectfully. * Complete paperwork efficiently. * Protect the customer's confidential information. * Help create a smooth transition from Sales through final delivery. * Take ownership of resolving customer concerns related to the finance process. What We're Looking For We are seeking a proven automotive F&I professional who is: * Highly motivated and performance-driven. * Experienced in franchised automotive retail. * Strong in both finance and product presentation. * Knowledgeable regarding lender programs and deal structure. * Skilled at maximizing profitability while maintaining compliance. * Comfortable working with prime and non-prime credit situations. * Detail-oriented and exceptionally accurate with documentation. * Strong with follow-up and contracts-in-transit management. * Professional and confident when interacting with customers. * Able to work effectively with Sales, Accounting, and dealership leadership. * Competitive, accountable, and team-oriented. * Able to perform in a fast-paced, high-volume dealership environment. * Committed to customer satisfaction and long-term dealership success. Qualifications * Previous automotive dealership F&I Manager experience required. * Franchised dealership F&I experience strongly preferred. * Proven track record of F&I production and profitability. * Strong knowledge of automotive financing, leasing, lender programs, and F&I products. * Strong lender relationships and understanding of lender approval processes. * Experience structuring automotive retail and lease transactions. * Knowledge of F&I compliance requirements and dealership documentation standards. * Strong negotiation and presentation skills. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Strong organizational and time-management abilities. * Experience with dealership management and electronic contracting systems. * CDK experience preferred. * Mazda or captive-finance experience is a plus. * Ability to work a flexible dealership schedule, including evenings and weekends as required. * Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record. * Must be able to meet applicable pre-employment requirements. Compensation Estimated Annual Earnings: $150,000 – $200,000 Compensation is performance-based and will depend on individual production, dealership performance, and the applicable F&I compensation plan.
