All while understanding that together we are even better.Schedule: PRNShift: Day-Weekend (United States of America)Address: 1035 RED BUD RD NECity: CALHOUNState: GeorgiaPostal Code: 30701Job DescriptionWork Schedule: Monday-Thursday 6:00AM-4:30PMPositions patients accurately and comfortably using appropriate immobilization and coil placement techniques to ensure high-quality imaging.Prepares and administers IV contrast material following safety guidelines and monitors patients for adverse reactions.Follows department protocols for patient identification, informed consent, and time-out procedures prior to starting exams.Performs high-quality MRI examinations in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols to ensure diagnostic image quality and patient safety.Operates all imaging equipment safely and properly, including scanners, injectors, and monitors, adapting protocols for patients of all ages. Other duties as assigned.Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesKnowledge of MRI procedures [Required]Knowledge of MRI scanners [Required]Ability to work flexibly in variable shifts, occasionally including weekends or holidays [Required]Must maintain all required registries and licenses to perform imaging procedures [Required]Ability to perform MRI procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail [Required]EducationAssociate [Preferred]High School Grad or Equiv [Required]Work Experience1+ years experience in radiology and completion of MRI training program [Preferred]Additional Information(RT)(MR)(ARRT): Additional Licensure or certification requirements may apply depending on the specific unit or state in which this position is located.
