Warehouse Worker - Weekly Pay

Receiving Associate / Material Handler / Order PickerThis full-time role combines receiving, material handling, and order picking in a fast-paced warehouse and manufacturing environment. You will handle incoming and outgoing shipments, manage inventory, and operate material handling equipment while maintaining a strong focus on accuracy, safety, and efficiency. The position requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.ResponsibilitiesReceive incoming shipments, unload trucks, and verify quantities and items against packing slips and purchase orders.Perform shipping and receiving tasks, including preparing outgoing orders, packing, labeling, and staging shipments for pickup.Pull and pick orders accurately from warehouse inventory using RF scanners and other tools, ensuring correct items and quantities.Handle materials throughout the warehouse using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.Operate a stand-up forklift safely to move, stack, and organize pallets and product within designated areas.Manage warehouse inventory by counting, organizing, and tracking items to support effective inventory control.Use RF scanners and basic computer systems to perform data entry, update inventory records, and maintain accurate documentation.Pack and package products according to established procedures to protect items during storage and shipment.Lift and move boxes and other materials as needed to support daily warehouse operations.Assist with unloading deliveries and placing materials in appropriate storage locations.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with company policies and safety guidelines.Collaborate with team members in the warehouse and manufacturing areas to support production and assembly needs.Follow established processes and work instructions to ensure quality, accuracy, and timely completion of tasks.Essential SkillsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced warehouse and manufacturing environment with a strong attention to detail.Experience with shipping and receiving activities, including unloading, packing, and preparing orders for shipment.Proficiency in basic inventory management and inventory control practices within a warehouse setting.Skill in operating material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks, including stand-up forklifts.Capability to use RF scanners for inventory tracking, order picking, and data entry tasks.Physical ability to lift boxes and materials and perform manual handling tasks throughout the workday.Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office and database data entry.Ability to perform accurate data entry related to inventory, shipping, and receiving documentation.Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and maintain orderly inventory and workspaces.Ability to work both independently and in small teams to complete assigned tasks and support overall operations.Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED preferred.Previous warehouse experience preferred.Forklift certification preferred.Previous shipping and receiving experience preferred.Prior experience using RF scanners and warehouse inventory systems is beneficial.Comfort working with Microsoft Office applications and basic database entry preferred.Minimum age of 18 years old to apply.Why Work Here?Employees benefit from a strong benefits package, structured training, and clear opportunities for career growth. Warehouse and assembly teams work in defined areas of the building, collaborating in small groups and individually to support production and order fulfillment. The schedule runs from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, providing consistent daytime hours. You will regularly use equipment such as stand-up forklifts, pallet jacks, RF scanners, and computers while working around tractor assembly operations and general warehouse activity.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sioux Falls, SD.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
