Valley Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is seeking dependable and hardworking Housekeepers to join our Environmental Services team in Taylorsville, NC .

As a Housekeeper , you'll play an important role in maintaining a clean, sanitary, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our residents, visitors, and team members.

Responsibilities Include:

• Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, hallways, common areas, and offices

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, disinfect, and maintain assigned areas

• Perform resident room and discharge cleaning according to facility standards

• Empty trash and properly dispose of waste

• Restock housekeeping carts and cleaning supplies

• Follow assigned cleaning schedules and complete special cleaning projects as needed

• Safely operate housekeeping and cleaning equipment

• Follow infection prevention, sanitation, and workplace safety guidelines

• Report maintenance, safety, or sanitation concerns to the appropriate team member

• Work collaboratively with other departments to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents

• Previous housekeeping, hotel, hospitality, janitorial, custodial, environmental services, cleaning, or healthcare experience preferred, but not required

• Dependable with a strong work ethic and attention to detail

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Ability to follow cleaning schedules, safety procedures, and infection prevention guidelines

• Ability to stand, bend, lift, push, and pull throughout the workday

• Positive attitude and commitment to maintaining a clean and comfortable environment for our residents
