Use the guest's name when appropriateThank the guest and invite him or her backOversee scheduling, training, development, motivation and supervision of the security staff personnelAssist sick or injured patrons and employeesAssist Games and Slots department in removing drop boxesReport unsafe or hazardous conditionsAssist patrons and employees on directions and proper proceduresCheck identification to ensure guests are over the age of 21 and constantly monitor and train Security Officers in the importance of the checking of all subjects who look under 30 years of ageThis training will also include the awareness of the use of fraudulent iD'sPerform fills, credits, exchanges and marker transfers procedures for departments as neededEnsure that all proper procedures for Games Department are correctly implemented and maintainedDrive company vehicles to transport individuals to specified locations or to patrol company propertyMonitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of premisesWrite accident/incident reports of daily activities and irregularities such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrencesObtains witness statements when necessaryAnswer alarms and investigate disturbancesCirculate among visitors, patrons, or employees to preserve order and protect propertyMonitor surveillance equipment and alarmsSecurity Lead Officers will respond to all emergencies on property and be able to if the need arises to evacuate patrons and employeesSecurity Lead Officers will participate in drills consisting of all emergencies each quarterMust be able to physically stand for an 8 hour shiftResolve guest complaints and ensures that all areas of guest service are adhered toRespond to and handle all occupational injury reports and all incident reports report including vehicle incident reports on property assuring that L'Auberge Casino and Hotel maintains its procedures and liability issuesSecurity Lead Officers will respond to all emergencies on propertyOfficers will be trained and become proficient in how to respond to all emergencies including evacuation if the need arisesOfficers will attend quarterly drills covering all of the above noted emergenciesConduct training classes on various topics such as CPR, Fire Fighting and Response, First-Aid, and general security procedures to ensure the security and protection of assets, patrons/guests and employeesBring Us Your Best.Must be at least 21 years of ageMust be able to obtain and maintain an active Louisiana gaming licenseMust obtain and maintain a current State Responsible Vendor PermitAbility to work under pressure by maintaining composure when exposed to stressExcellent writing skillsKnowledgeable in Microsoft Word & ExcelDemonstrated supervisor experience preferredBasic knowledge of civil and criminal lawsBasic knowledge of customer service and security experienceThese skills are typically acquired through a high school education or equivalent and two years customer service experience or through closely related experience, or an equivalent combination of training, education and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the positionStay In The Game.
