URPCA leverages modern PACS technology, efficient workflows, and collaborative clinical practices to support timely, accurate patient care while offering flexibility for physicians. Position Overview We are seeking Diagnostic Radiologists to provide remote teleradiology coverage for our Inland Valley hospital partners during evening and overnight hours. This is a fully remote diagnostic radiology position with consistent general diagnostic caseloads and flexible opportunities for physicians seeking full-time, part-time, per diem, or locum tenens work. Available shifts include 5:00 PM 11:00 PM PST, 6:00 PM 12:00 AM PST, and 12:00 AM 8:00 AM PST . The ideal candidate demonstrates strong general diagnostic skills, sound clinical judgment, diagnostic accuracy, and the ability to work efficiently and independently during off-hours while collaborating with onsite clinical teams when needed. Key Responsibilities Interpret a broad range of general diagnostic imaging studies, including CT, X-ray, ultrasound, and MRI Deliver timely, accurate, and clinically appropriate final reads during evening and overnight coverage Collaborate remotely with onsite clinicians, referring physicians, and hospital teams to support patient care Communicate critical findings appropriately and in accordance with established clinical workflows Utilize integrated PACS, EMR, and voice-recognition systems for efficient remote workflow Maintain compliance with quality, patient safety, regulatory, and documentation requirements Participate in remote QA, peer review, and quality improvement initiatives as required Qualifications MD or DO degree Board Certified / Board Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology Active California medical license or eligibility for California licensure Strong proficiency in general diagnostic radiology and interpretation of a broad range of diagnostic studies Excellent communication, professionalism, and teamwork skills Ability to work efficiently and independently in a fully remote, high-volume environment Schedule Evening coverage: 5:00 PM 11:00 PM PST Evening coverage: 6:00 PM 12:00 AM PST Overnight coverage: 12:00 AM 8:00 AM PST Compensation RVU-based compensation aligned with shift type and coverage commitment Compensation is based on coverage, commitment, experience, employment classification, and applicable productivity expectations Benefits Fully remote teleradiology practice environment Flexible evening and overnight coverage opportunities Full-Time, Part-Time, Per Diem, and Locum Tenens opportunities available Professional liability insurance coverage, where applicable Licensing support CME allowance and professional development support, where applicable Strong IT and administrative support How to Apply Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Statement Universal Radiology Partners of California is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
