QA Analyst III

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst for a top telecommunications client. This individual will play a key role in ensuring software quality prior to production releases through extensive manual testing efforts. The ideal candidate will have strong experience building and executing test plans, identifying and documenting defects, and working closely with development teams to validate fixes. While this position is heavily focused on manual testing, candidates with automation testing experience will stand out and have opportunities to contribute to process improvements and testing efficiencies. This role requires excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to mentor team members while helping drive high-quality software releases.

Skills and Requirements

5-10 years of Quality Assurance (QA) experience

Strong background in manual software testing

Experience creating, executing, and maintaining test plans and test cases

Experience identifying, documenting, and tracking software defects

Ability to collaborate closely with software developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues

Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills

Experience with QA testing tools and defect tracking systems

Ability to coach and mentor team members on testing processes, tools, and reporting Hands-on automation testing experience

Experience with automated test script development and maintenance

Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies

Telecommunications industry experience

Experience driving QA process improvements and best practices
