Project Engineer (Doors, Framing, Hardware)

An Insight Global customer is seeking to hire a Project Engineer who can oversee the proper completion of door installation for a high-tech manufacturing project in Queen Creek, AZ. Due to a large number of design changes, this person will start the job by performing an audit of what work has been completed and what is outstanding in their first few weeks on the job. From there, they will manage project schedules, subcontractors, inventory and other related tasks to ensure that doors, frames and locks are all installed correctly. This is a 4-month contract with the possibility of extensions and will require the person to be on site full time. This individual can expect to spend about 50% of their time in the field ensuring work is properly completed. We can offer pay between $40-$50/hr. but exact compensation may vary based on education and experience.

Required Skills & Experience
- 3+ years of experience as a project engineer on commercial construction projects.
- Experience managing the installation of doors, frames and door hardware including locks, card readers, hollow metal doors, overhead ceiling doors, access control, hinges, etc.
- Highly organized and familiar with construction software tools like Procore and Smartsheet.


Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related construction degree
