Sales Account Manager - Aircraft Parts

Team JAS is looking for a driven, goal-oriented Sales Account Manager with a passion for results to join our team in Jacksonville, FL. We serve a global customer base of airlines, OEMs, and MROs with distribution, component repair, and PMA parts.

About The Position:
The Sales Account Manager is responsible for the management, service, and ultimate revenue growth of the assigned customer(s). Activities will include cold calling, quoting/bidding, order processes, product pricing, and becoming knowledgeable about all products and services offered by Team JAS. This position is responsible for maintaining up-to-date and current product costs to provide accurate quotes to customers and potential customers. Those in this position must become knowledgeable about industry-standard processes and requirements. The Sales Account Manager will be the Team JAS expert on their assigned accounts.
Primary Responsibilities:
Ensure industry-leading service and support to our customers
Correspond with customers via email, phone, ILS, Aeroxchange, and Parts base for requests for price, availability, and lead time for the sale of parts and repairs
Continuously develop and grow customer relationships at all levels
Ensure Team JAS ERP System (Quantum Control) integrity and accuracy
Utilize company business system (Quantum Control) and portal data to identify and document customer needs and maintain continuous communication regarding open part orders, SPECS, and part availability
Gather information regarding airline fleets and possible changes to the fleets
Broker parts for customers, as needed
Communicate new product and service opportunities, noteworthy developments, information, or feedback gathered through field activity to appropriate company personnel
Present and sell company products and services to current and potential clients, including spare packages
Identify and contact sales prospects, and other accounts as assigned
Follow up on existing customers to maintain customer satisfaction
Create and manage sales orders until the order is fulfilled
Deliver work accurately and on time to customer expectations
Assist accounting with the collection of outstanding invoices

Although aviation experience is beneficial, your ability to absorb technical information, develop product knowledge through training, and confidently communicate that knowledge to customers is more important. You’re eager to master the ins and outs of our innovative products and services, becoming a true expert in your role. The ideal candidate would possess the following traits and qualifications:
Technical Knowledge & Abilities:
Aerospace Industry Expertise: Familiarity with aircraft components, systems, and industry terminology, especially related to commercial and regional aircraft.
Experience Selling in the Aviation Aftermarket: Proven ability to sell spare parts and MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) services effectively.
Experience with CRM and ERP Systems: Working knowledge of Quantum Control or similar platforms for managing customer accounts and sales processes.
Detail-Oriented: Accuracy in managing quotes, contracts, and customer records.
Sales Skills:
Experience: 3-5 years of proven success in inside sales.
Customer-focused: Strong ability to build and maintain relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Strategic Thinking: Ability to identify customer needs and align them with product and service offerings.
Problem-Solving Ability:
Collaboration: Team-oriented mindset to work effectively with internal departments like purchasing, repair, and logistics.
Analytical Skills: Capable of assessing customer inquiries and finding efficient, cost-effective solutions.
Behavioral Traits:
Professionalism: Demonstrates integrity, reliability, and a commitment to high standards.
Self-Motivation: Driven to meet and exceed sales targets with minimal supervision.
Curiosity and Initiative: Actively seeks to expand knowledge of the aviation industry and customer base.
Travel: Willingness to travel approximately 15% of the time to meet client and business needs.
What Sets You Apart:
Proven track record of exceeding sales goals, metrics, and measurements.
Commercial, inside sales experience is preferred.
Aviation knowledge is a plus.
Must have a sales (hunter) mentality.

Self-motivation and an independent mindset, while still being able to influence and grow with the Sales team.
