Summary:

• Evaluates and selects hardware and software for automated control systems.

• Implements and validates upgraded hardware and software into automated control systems.

• Implements safety solutions to equipment.

• Analyzes data to perform root cause analysis of systemic production issues of automated equipment.

• Develops, tests, and evaluates software and hardware changes.

• Designs, develops, and supports equipment network technology and cybersecurity.

• Develops and releases bid and purchase specifications for equipment needs from suppliers.

• Verifies equipment specifications meet requirements.

• Troubleshoots production issues related to quality, safety, and repeatability.

• Maintains and improves data collection systems tracking equipment performance metrics including OEE, MTBF, MTTR, and machine uptime.

Requirements:

• Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry.

• 2 or more years of related engineering work experience.

• Preferred: 2 or more years of experience working in a production environment.

• Preferred: 2 or more years of experience in electrical and electronic systems.

• Preferred: Programming experience with C#, Java, Visual Basic, or similar.

• Preferred: PLC programming experience with Siemens, Rockwell, Fanuc, or similar.

• Preferred: Experience in Automated Test Equipment with PXI, PCI, VXI, IEEE-488, RS-485, Can bus.

• Preferred: Experience with computer aided design (CAD) with AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor or Catia.

• Preferred: Experience administering Windows operating system and proficiency in Microsoft products.
