2nd Shift - 3:00pm - 11:30pm3rd Shift - 11pm - 7:30am CNC Mill, Lathe, and Mill Turn Machining (60% of time)Operate 3-axis and 5-axis vertical and horizontal mills, lathes, and mill turn machines.Perform CNC machine setups, including truing up locating surfaces.Vet CNC programs and cutter selection on legacy CNC tooling.Train less skilled Machinists and Operators.Ensure correct fixturing is used and properly maintained.Program pre-setters and shrink-fit equipment and set tool life parameters.Understand macro programming and subroutines tied to main programs.Apply GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) fundamentals.Load NC programs, adjust offset tables, and maintain/replace cutting tools.Electronically document in-process data to meet QA and production system requirements.Measure and record QA data, including dimensions, serial numbers, and inspection results.Perform measuring equipment calibration checks.Operate CNC controls including Fanuc, Haas, Mazatrol, Fagor, and Siemens.Machine Setup and Prove Out (20% of time)Operate material handling equipment, including hoists, cranes, and tow motors.Read and interpret detailed manufacturing prints and work instructions.Use indicators, micrometers, and calipers to accurately align workholding.Assemble tools and accurately set tool length, alignment, and runout.Set and adjust work offsets and tool offset parameters for various CNC controls.Perform first-piece setup prove-outs on different types of CNC equipment.General Skills Required for All Operations (20% of time)Use calipers, depth gauges, micrometers, and fabricated gauging equipment.Utilize tool setting equipment.Access and use computers, machine controls, and production data collection software.Track production orders, maintain material traceability, and move materials to support workflow.Communicate effectively with production associates, supervisors, engineering, and management.Collaborate in team-based production and continuous improvement activities.Assist in training new employees and less experienced associates.Perform 6S and housekeeping duties to maintain a safe, clean, and efficient work environment.Perform physical job duties including prolonged standing, walking, bending, stooping, climbing, repetitive lifting up to 50 pounds, and pushing heavily loaded carts.
