Complete Care Physicians is a small family practice in Katy, TX. We are professional, agile and our goal is to find a Medical Scheduler/ Receptionist to become a part of our team! You will perform routine front desk and administrative assignments to keep the medical facility running smoothly.

Our clinic is seeking a friendly and knowledgeable Medical Scheduler/ Receptionist to join our team! The position has a lot of opportunities for growth and advancement, so we're looking for a candidate who is eager to learn new skills, take on additional responsibilities and meet new patients. Applicants must be highly motivated and organized to succeed in this role, as well as friendly and dedicated to the mission of our clinic.

Responsibilities:

• Greet patients and capture information to determine the type of appointment needed.
• Answer incoming calls to the clinic and direct calls to the appropriate clinicians or departments.
• Provide clerical support in a medical office setting.
• Verify patient insurance coverage and eligibility, co-pays, deductibles and pre-authorization/ referrals requirements.
• Check-in patients, validate documents, colect and post payments
• Schedule appointments for patients, ensure accurate patient records and information are maintained
• Assist and ensure patients complete necessary paperwork, collect and post payments for co-pays or outstanding balances
• Answer questions regarding patient's insurance benefits and copays.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
• Coordinate communication between patients, providers, and medical staff.
• Perform general administrative duties such as creating, scanning, faxing, and emailing documents.
• Maintaining a clean and organized reception area

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certification in medical office administration is a plus.
• 4 years or more of experience in a medical office
• At least 3 years experience in scheduling and front desk roles
• Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Proficient in eClinical Works EMR and Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of insurance verification and authorization processes.
• The ideal candidate should live within a 20-30 minute commute of our office, recognize the importance of reliability and timeliness, and must be flexible with their approach and have a "can-do" attitude.

Job Types: Full-time

Salary: $17-$21 per hour or based on experience
