This isn’t just a job, it's a chance to lead change, drive progress, and leave a lasting legacy.Primary Responsibilities:In the role ofSenior Water/Wastewater Project Manager,we'll count on you to:Plan, direct and monitor all aspects of multidiscipline Water/Wastewater/Water Resources or other water related projectsProduce and coordinate several projects concurrentlyEstablish client relations and be involved with marketing, contractual, design and production meetingsConduct schematic, design development and contract document work sessions at project sites in conjunction with Project Managers, appropriate technical professionals and other disciplinesCoordinate staffing and workload through entire project development to complete documents on scheduleWork with the Business/Accounting Manager, Project Controller or Company Controller and Department Manager or Managing Principal for project reviewsImplement QA/QC proceduresExecute training for personnel as established by strategic plansSupervise project staff and act as mentor for less-experienced Project ManagersPreferred Qualifications:A minimum of 15 years water/wastewater project engineering which must include a minimum of 5 years experience in project management, including complex water/wastewater projects including condition assessments, planning and design of collection systems, distribution systems and/or treatment plant projects.PE in New York or New JerseyAn attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a mustCandidates who reside locally in the NY/NJ area are preferred.Keyword(s); Senior Project Manager, Senior Water/wastewater Project Manager#LI-JC7QualificationsRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering10 years related experienceA minimum 5 years project management experienceProfessional Engineer (PE) licenseMS Office and MS Project experience (Access experience would be plus)Demonstrated leadership, business development and strategic planning skillsAn attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a mustWhat We BelieveHDR is our company.
