Apply today if you're dedicated to providing excellent patient care!Job ResponsibilitiesAssists nurses by performing basic care activities to meet patients' personal needs and comfortDresses, grooms, bathes, feeds, and records vital signs of patientsAnswers call lights, assists with toileting, oral care, nail care, catheter care, wheelchair assistance, transports, turns patients, reports changes, and maintains cleanlinessRequires certification as a Nurse Assistant; functions may not exceed Standards of Practice as accorded by certificationProvides simple or uncomplicated patient careCleans room and changes bed linenTakes and records temperature, pulse, and respiration rateAssists with medication reminders as directed by Physician or Nurse and documents the time given (where permitted by state regulations and scope of practice)Other duties as assignedQualificationsMust be at least 18 years oldValid driver's license, with satisfactory driving record, as defined by agency policyCurrent certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Care Aide in the state in which care will be providedCompletion of a recognized home care aide training program or 6 months of recent experience as an aideMust be able to utilize proper body mechanics while lifting and may be expected to lift up 75 lbs.; must be able to sit, stand, and walk for periods of time and bend, stoop, push, pull, and reachAll Ways Caring HomeCare?delivers quality, compassionate, and individualized care and support that helps people in need of assistance stay at home – all while maximizing their dignity, privacy, and independence.
