Med Tech Care Partner
Job Summary:
AdviniaCare Venice is seeking a compassionate and skilled Med Tech Care Partner to join our team! As a Med Tech Care Partner, you will provide personalized care and support to our residents, focusing on their unique needs and preferences. This is a PER DIEM opportunity, offering flexibility and work-life balance.
Responsibilities:
Provide full personal care to residents, including mobility support, assisting with maintaining personal hygiene, and applying skincare
Assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
Provide emotional and psychological support to residents and their families
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
Maintain accurate and confidential records of resident care
Requirements:
Must be qualified in one of the following programs: Certified Nurse's Aide Program, Home Health Aide Program, or completed a 54-hour training program as a PCA provider
Completion of the facility's Alzheimer Training Course
HS diploma or equivalent
Ability to work for extended periods while standing and being involved in physical activity
Ability to do extensive bending, lifting, and standing on a regular basis
Ability to carry out directions, read, and write
Maturity and ability to deal effectively with the demands of the job
Sympathetic attitude toward the care of the sick and elderly
