Serving residents in a very active community full of fun, family, and opportunities to serve.Job Description:Our Maintenance Director oversees keeping our residents living areas well-kept, serviced to high standards and leads a team of housekeeping staff. You should also be able to resolve resident complaint and queries promptly and in a polite manner. You are the right candidate if you are pleasant, detail-oriented and friendly.Responsibilities:Performs general maintenance work on a daily basis, including but not limited to, replacing light bulbs, repairing electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and appliances.Prepares resident rooms for new occupants by painting, cleaning carpets and general maintenance by either providing these activities or working as a team member to achieve these results.Maintains the grounds by sweeping, and trimming trees and shrubs, or other activities, such that the outside grounds are always presentable.Conducts daily inspections of the building exterior and ground equipment. Inspect storage rooms, work rooms, utility/janitorial closets, etc., for upkeep and supply control, and to assure that necessary equipment is available and working properly.Oversees housekeeping staff, maintaining cleaning supplies, and ensuring resident rooms are cleaned to a high standard.Keeps accurate maintenance records of work done, inventory and purchasing. Manages expenses through knowledge of budget. May purchase maintenance supplies, tools, and appliances.
