Field Service Technician

Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and service on Godwin fleet equipment Troubleshoot diesel engines, pumps, and electrical systems Rebuild diesel engines and pump ends Assist with pump system setup and start-up at customer job sites Conduct equipment damage assessments and report findings Test repaired equipment for proper function and quality Perform preventative maintenance on company vehicles and shop equipment Use computer-based diagnostic tools Participate in a weekly on-call rotation to support customers after hours Support Xylem Watermark volunteer activities Operate from the Germantown service location and travel daily to customer sites throughout the region Travel daily using a company vehicle; return home daily Requirements 3-5 years of diesel, mechanical, or related technical experience, or equivalent training Strong understanding of mechanical repair practices, tools, and troubleshooting Ability to diagnose both basic and complex mechanical/electrical issues Valid driver's license with a good driving record Ability to obtain a DOT Medical Card CDL-B preferred (not required) Experience with pump station electrical controls, DC circuits, and component testing is a plus Ability to work independently and communicate professionally with customers Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in diesel engine and pump maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems, and conducting equipment assessments.
