Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Warehouse Associate role based in Avon, MA. The Warehouse Associate will handle day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving inbound freight, verifying documentation, and organizing inventory in designated storage areas. Responsibilities include picking and packing orders, preparing shipments, loading and unloading trucks and containers, and safely operating material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks. The role also involves maintaining a clean and orderly work environment, following safety procedures, and collaborating with team members and supervisors to meet throughput and accuracy targets. The Warehouse Associate will use basic warehouse systems or scanners to track inventory and support efficient order fulfillment. Key Responsibilities Receive, distribute, store, and manage inventory while maintaining accurate records Label boxes, pallets, crates, and materials for proper identification Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently Verify and document incoming and outgoing shipments Complete daily workloads and assigned tasks in a timely manner Inventory & Documentation Maintain accurate inventory records for all shipped, received, and stored items Process shipping documents, delivery paperwork, and inventory reports Assist with cycle counts and physical inventory as required Equipment & Safety Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment (certification required or ability to obtain) Perform basic equipment checks and report maintenance needs Follow all company health, safety, and environmental procedures Lift and move packages up to 50 lbs as needed Teamwork & Communication Work collaboratively with warehouse staff and operations teams Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members Report inventory discrepancies or workflow concerns promptly Support continuous improvement initiatives within the warehouse Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred Forklift certification preferred (or willingness to obtain) Previous warehouse, logistics, or distribution experience preferred Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety Skills Basic computer skills (Word, spreadsheets, email) Strong time management and organizational skills Ability to work independently and within a team Problem-solving abilities Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused Schedule Full-time, Monday–Friday Occasional overtime as needed Competitive pay (based on experience) Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and holidays Opportunities for advancement Supportive, team-oriented work environment #J-18808-Ljbffr
