Requirement : Facility/Maintenance Experience
Position Summary:
The Maintenance Worker ensures the Job Corps center’s facilities and grounds are safe, functional, and well-maintained, supporting a positive learning and living environment for students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on buildings, equipment, and systems (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry)
- Conduct inspections to identify safety hazards and maintenance needs
- Maintain grounds, including landscaping, snow removal, and general upkeep
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and students
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and center safety standards
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience in facility maintenance or related trade
- Working knowledge of building systems and repair techniques
- Ability to operate maintenance tools and equipment safely
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
