• Setting: Outpatient hematology/oncology clinic
• Schedule: Monday through Thursday, with coverage needs of 3–4 days per week
• Shift Duration: 8-hour clinic days; 10-hour days may be available when scheduled for 3 shifts per week
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $3,820–$4,100
• Start Date: 12/1/2026
• Coverage: Ongoing locum tenens coverage
• Patient Volume: Approximately 10 patient encounters per shift
• Call: No call required

Job Requirements

• Active Nurse Practitioner license required
• At least 1 year of relevant experience required; hematology/oncology or advanced practice experience strongly preferred
• Board certified required
• Advanced Practice certification required
• AONCP certification required
• DEA registration required
• BLS certification required
• Strong clinical judgment and comfort working in both collaborative and independent settings
• Current CV required for consideration

Responsibilities

• Provide care for hematology/oncology patients in an outpatient oncology clinic setting
• Manage patients in the infusion suite and support treatment coordination
• Work alongside an oncologist, with some independent patient care responsibility
• Review lab results and respond to patient questions in a timely, compassionate manner
• Partner with the navigator to triage calls and support patient flow
• Help manage the in-basket and other routine clinical communications
• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care without rounding responsibilities
• Contribute to a supportive, multidisciplinary healthcare team focused on excellent outcomes
