How a Systems Administrator Will Make an Impact: Provide technical support of Windows server systems, performing Tier II and Tier III administration, troubleshooting, and root-cause-analysis activities Perform system administration duties and function Monitor, manage, and maintain pre-production and production environments, and respond to system alerts Respond to assigned tasks, incidents, and service requests Plan, design, and deploy vendor and security-related patches, updates/upgrades, and hotfixes as assigned Conduct monthly vulnerability scans and assessments of servers, and address findings and mitigations Monitor logs for suspicious activity on the servers and take appropriate action Ensure the security posture of the servers remain in compliance What You’ll Need to Succeed: Education: BS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related technology field. Experience may be substituted for education. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
