Shifts available: Monday - Thursday 4:00 PM - 2:30 AM (Overtime Eligible) A variety of these traits will help land you this job if you have: High School Diploma or GED Minimum 3-5 experience in the printing Industry as a Bindery Operator, Cutter, Folder or Booklet Maker OSHA 10 Hour Certification is a plus On top of that you must: possess a thorough and organized approach to your work pay close attention to details on every project have basic computer skills, including Pace and Google Suite be self‑motivated, a fast learner, and show initiative to seek out customer and corporate needs plan, prioritize, coordinate, and manage your work complete projects accurately within deadlines, while meeting Company quality standards apply effective time management and self‑management skills understand and maintain the confidential nature of the company, employee and customer information be flexible to change In this position you'll: motivate, mentor, coach and train employees for professional development, employee engagement and the creation of a safe and inclusive work environment qork closely with manager, and other shift leadership in prioritizing and directing department work flow support safe environment, driving towards 0 OSHA recordables & maintain high quality standards ensure assembly integrity through continuous monitoring of departmental processes work closely with Kitting Line Leads as well as other production areas’ leadership in prioritizing and directing department workflow maintain appropriate levels of supplies to meet production requirements establish open lines of communication with production floor ensure training and skills are in compliance with training policy & work to further develop team’s skill work toward continuous improvement by monitoring efficiency & productivity & implement improvements steps in as needed to work on lines perform miscellaneous projects and complete various tasks as requested by management To get hired at The Bernard Group, you MUST be: able to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing.
