Current Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in Colorado or eligibility through compact licensure
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
Strong communication and documentation skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team
Passion for delivering compassionate, resident-centered care
Provide physical therapy services to residents in skilled nursing and long-term care settings under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation
Assist residents in improving mobility, strength, and functional independence
Collaborate with therapy, nursing, and medical teams to achieve optimal resident outcomes
Follow all state and federal regulations governing therapy services
Adhere to facility policies, procedures, and professional standards
Travel between assigned facilities throughout Southern Colorado as needed
